Mr Don’s HISTORY website
My office hours are Wednesday during 4th period lunch, and most days after school. Every three weeks I am the crossing guard from 3:03 to 3:17. If these times do not work, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know when you would like to meet. Please know that I do not answer work emails over the weekend. If I don’t get back to you soon enough, do not hesitate to shoot me a second email. Sometimes even teachers need a little prompting:)
Parents, you will find a letter describing our new ELA curriculum HERE. Please let me know if you have any questions. There's also a link in the letter that will take you to a Google slide. Look for "Middle School" and click on Study Sync. There you'll find a nice overview of what your students will be doing in language arts this year.
Keep in mind that curriculum will always override information presented here. In other words, what I say in class is more important than what I upload onto this site. That said, I hope this website will help students stay organized and makeup work when they are absent. Feedback is always welcome. I'll consider any idea or addition that you think will make this site more user friendly or more beneficial to learning.
I have also placed a suggestion box on my desk. If your student is not able to email me—unfortunately our wireless is sometimes on the fritz–they can put a note in the box, and I will get back to them personally.
